The official combat boot of the United States Marines may be getting an upgrade, at least when the Marines are deployed to tropical locations. The Marine Corps Times reports that four new types of combat boots will be tested during normal Jungle Warfare Training exercises in Japan this summer. The training takes places in actual tropical jungles at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa, Japan.
